Caleb Griffis is an honest singer/songwriter stretching his humble south texas roots into a vibrant, rich folk sound. Griffis gets his sound from a wide variety of inspirations, the rough, raw sound of Townes Van Zandt or Guy Clark, the detailed, picture-perfect style of a Lizzy McAlpine, the groove of funk greats Jamiroquai, the lyrical intricacies of Andrew Marlin of Watchhouse, the in-your-face arrangements of Frank Sinatra, the smooth melodies of James Taylor. All blended to create a sound uniquely Caleb Griffis.
Caleb is currently working on his upcoming EP, a brand new deep dive into the inspiration that led him to the musician he is today. A collection of genres and styles that wouldn’t normally appear at first glance, put under the spotlight.
